Dementia: The Price of Memory
Ahead of the July General Election, my team investigated one of the most impactful areas in social care—dementia care. With one in three people born today expected to develop dementia, have you ever thought about it down the line?
We sought to understand how financial status influences the quality of care people receive by examining how funding affects access to support. We gathered insights from care home carers, family carers, charity campaigners, and MPs to paint a comprehensive picture of the current state of dementia care.
